Who We Are

Teresa Moore, a PR professional with more than 20 years experience in communications and the news media, is president of Moore Ink. She provides personal attention to each client and leads all strategic development and implementation. She promises to devote herself to your PR goals with the same enthusiasm and spirit as she does when zipping through the treetops of Whistler, B.C.!

After 10 years as a newspaper reporter covering political affairs in Texas and Louisiana, Teresa Moore began her work in public relations at the Texas State Department of Education. She headed to the Pacific Northwest to manage communications and PR for the Washington Education Association, where she worked for more than nine years. After serving as Vice President/Corporate Communications for Premera Blue Cross, she launched Moore Ink. in June 1999.

Teresa has a degree in political science from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has won more than two dozen national, state, and regional awards for public relations and writing and has made presentations at the local, state, regional, and national levels to PR colleagues across the country. In her spare time, she is active in the Washington Athletic Club and is a member of the Northwest Development Officers Association and Women Business Owners.

Pam McGaffin is a Public Relations Specialist for Moore Ink. Specializing in media relations and writing, Pam turns clients’ successes into news and feature stories for newspapers, magazines and broadcast media throughout the Puget Sound area. In addition to generating major media coverage, her bylined client articles have appeared in dozens of local newspapers and magazines. Pam also excels in writing and project management for client publications. She gets as much delight from contributing to our clients' causes as she does getting kisses from Josie.

Pam holds a degree in journalism and communications from the University of Washington.  Before joining the Moore Ink. team in 2002, Pam was a newspaper reporter for The Herald in Everett for 15 years. An avid soccer player, Pam and her husband, public affairs consultant Mark Funk, have two energetic young boys, Charlie and Casey, and a really cool rescue dog named Ben.

Mike Moore provides digital photography services for Moore Ink. client publications and events. After serving as a corporate credit manager for 15 years, Mike joined the “family business” full-time in 2003 to devote his talents and energies to helping nonprofit organizations tell their stories through the visual arts. He has completed coursework through the New York Institute of Photography and has had his photos published in many local newspapers and magazines. Mike has a bachelor’s degree in business management from Augustana College and an associate of arts degree in journalism from Blackhawk College in Illinois. Mike is active in the Washington Athletic Club and is a devoted fan of the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks. He loves his work almost as much as chilling out at the marina in Cabo San Lucas.

Catherine Filippini joined Moore Ink. in 2008 as a part-time PR Associate. Catherine’s nonprofit and government experience includes work with Washington State Tourism, the City of Kirkland, the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, the American Cancer Society and The Wilderness Society. In addition to developing and implementing communications plans and strategies, Catherine is experienced in writing, message development, new communications, media relations, event execution and marketing. She earned a degree in government from California State University, Sacramento. Her public affairs experience includes working for House and Senate representatives in the California State Capitol and with the Pala Band of Mission Indian Tribe to help secure passage of the California Indian Gaming Initiative.  When she’s not working, Catherine enjoys traveling, spending time with husband Jason, daughter Izabella and two spunky dogs, and enjoying the outdoor activities of the North Cascades.

When a client’s needs demand additional expert attention, Moore Ink. partners with other outstanding professionals in graphics design, advertising, video production, events management and communications to ensure that our clients receive complete service and have convenient access to a wide variety of backgrounds and expertise. A few of our favorite collaborators include David Owen Hastings Design, Clockwork Studios and DNA Brand Mechanics.

Carly Moore, Director of Milk Bone Procurement, came to Moore Ink. in 2001. She brings many months of experience in finagling treats through expert sitting, staying and fetching her favorite toys (“fish” and “rope”). Smart and feisty, she shares an office with Teresa and Pam.

Josie Moore, Director of Squirrel Chasing, joined our team in 2002. She excels at rolling over so you can rub her tummy, giving kisses, and demanding attention when we’re on deadline. Adorable and affectionate, she shares an office with Mike and his recliner.

Moore Ink. alumna Jessica Adams, on staff 2004-2005, is a new mommy to beautiful Mairin Faith. Congrats to Jessica, husband Mike Adams and family!
