Moore Ink. specializes in serving clients with a
cause, organizations with high goals and values that are
committed to making life better for people in our
community. We are proud to number the following
organizations among our clients:
American Red Cross: Researched and created a
comprehensive strategic marketing communications plan
aimed at better educating the community about the local
impact of this respected organization. Currently working
with the Chapter to implement the plan; work includes
message development, web site content/design, employee
communications, publication review, community outreach
and more.
National Multiple Sclerosis Society/Greater
Washington Chapter: Comprehensive communications and
PR, from planning to implementation: media relations,
quarterly newsletter, annual report, fundraising event
support and publicity, community outreach and more.
Youth Eastside Services: Comprehensive
communications and PR assistance, including development
and implementation of a strategic communications plan,
media relations, brochures, annual report, newsletter,
community presentations and capital campaign
communications.
Seattle Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center:
Hired in February 2003, Moore Ink. has assumed all
public relations and local marketing activities for this
unique out-patient clinic. Seattle Cancer Treatment and
Wellness Center combines the latest medical oncology
therapies with supportive techniques like nutrition,
mind-body medicine, physical therapy, naturopathy and
spiritual wellness to fight cancer.
Community Services for the Blind and Partially
Sighted: Developing materials and outreach for a new
planned giving program.
Social Justice Fund Northwest (formerly A Territory
Resource): Creating and implementing a comprehensive
strategic communications plan to position this
five-state regional foundation as a leader in advancing
social justice through grassroots community organizing.
United Way of Anchorage: Conducted two full-day
training sessions in PR for Nonprofits for 130 executive
directors, communications managers, Board members and
other staff of nonprofit organizations in Alaska.
South King Council of Human Services (a United Way
coalition): Researched, wrote and oversaw production
of a donor/funder-directed publication, “A Matter of
Need,” emphasizing the unique needs of South King County
residents for human services.
American Cancer Society: Media and community
relations for the first-ever Puget Sound-area Making
Strides Against Breast Cancer event in 2002.
Children's Hospital & Regional Medical Center:
Researched and wrote promotional materials for
Children's Heart Center, Research Department, ACCESS
program (After Cancer Care Ends, Survivorship Starts)
and Outcomes Report for the Pediatric Surgery
Department; wrote and facilitated Board and Guild
approval of campaign case statement; planned and wrote
labor/management communications.
King County Human Services Coalition: Media
relations, including organizing and promoting a
successful news conference that resulted in coverage by
the Seattle Times, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, KOMO-TV,
KING-TV, KCPQ-TV, KIRO radio and KUOW radio.
Comprehensive Health Education Foundation:
Developed a strategic communications and marketing plan
to assist in marketing CHEF’s prevention curricula to
school districts and promoting the organization’s
initiatives in the areas of early childhood, school-age
youth and healthy aging. Continuing to serve as
communications consultant to implement communications
and marketing plan strategies.
Federal Way School District: Developed
comprehensive communications plan to help ensure staff
understanding and support for the district’s transition
to a middle school/high school structure. Activities
included concept development, planning and writing of
bimonthly staff newsletters.
Seattle Education Association: Worked with SEA
staff and volunteers to plan and conduct interviews with
more than 1,000 Association members to gather
information to use in establishing SEA’s strategic plan.
Developed a strategic communications plan, and
implemented selected activities, to advance the
organization’s strategic plan. Wrote and facilitated
Board of Directors adoption of a new SEA mission
statement and logo.
Evergreen Healthcare: Media and public relations
for the 2000 Body Mind & Spirit Symposium.
Horizon House: Employee and resident
communications for one of Seattle's most respected
retirement communities.
Issaquah School District: Wrote and delivered
keynote address at a seminar for 100 school secretaries.
Premera Blue Cross: Speechwriting, media
relations, PR employee recruitment.
Presbyterian Retirement Communities Northwest (Exeter
House and Park Shore, Seattle): Resident
communications, community relations, advertising, crisis
communications planning, media relations.
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (Fred Hutchinson Cancer
Research Center, UW Medical Center, and Children's
Hospital): Researched and wrote marketing notebook
for health insurance company representatives detailing
the Alliance's pediatric bone marrow transplant program.
Seattle School District: Developed marketing and
PR plan for Rainier Beach High School's Performing Arts
Center; wrote and coordinated design and production of a
brochure for new and prospective students and their
parents.
Washington Education Association: Developed a
format for organizing and articulating WEA's budget as a
vehicle for achieving and evaluating organizational
strategies.
WEA Children's Fund: Developed and implemented
the first-ever fundraising plan for this non-profit
foundation; wrote content for Website at
www.weachildrensfund.org.
Yakima School District: Assisted in the planning
and development of a day-long management training
session for administrators, and delivered a presentation
on community relations.
Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences: Design and
facilitation of half-day communications workshop for 60
parents, alumni and Board trustees of this private
school, including keynote presentation.
Washington Athletic Club: Facilitated member
committee to develop a recommended operations,
communications and marketing plan for child care
services.
